- Jaron has spent over a decade writing for numerous niches, from education to artisan coffee, business, finance, tech — but entertainment is always the one that lures him back.
- Along with writing, Jaron has a passion for research. He spent the first half of his career performing intense research projects. He particularly enjoys mining ancient texts to find out how they've influenced modern pop culture narratives. From Xenophon to the Kalevala, he has no fear of tackling complex primary sources in order to find the information he needs.
- Jaron has literally read through The Lord of the Rings dozens of times (at this point he's lost count) and has repeatedly devoured The Hobbit, The Silmarillion, Unfinished Tales, and countless other Tolkienian writings. He is an expert on all things related to the famous Oxford Professor.
Experience
Jaron is a serial entrepreneur and has worked as a professional writer since he was 19 years old. He is consistently recruited to both write and ghostwrite for high-profile publications, including Forbes, Inc, and Entrepreneur. At the end of the day, though, Jaron is a world-class nerd that was born with a pen in his hand. He has spent years geeking out over Marvel films, The Office, Community, Star Wars, and the like. His one passion to rule them all is his lifelong obsession with all things Tolkien, and he prides himself on being a plugged-in member of the intense, insane, and endlessly lovable Tolkien community (and outside of that prestigious group, can find no equal to challenge his vast store of Middle-earth lore). He also helms the podcast "The Halfling" and has spent time rubbing shoulders with and interviewing a plethora of Middle-earth actors and influencers.
Education
Jaron has a bachelor's in Entrepreneurship from Thomas Edison University of New Jersey. He has additional SEO training and has started multiple businesses in various fields, more than one of which revolves around Tolkien.
